We understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. We must still ask to be notified of the death of an immediate family member or a Navigators employee as soon as possible, and no later than 31 days. Please note, a death certificate will be needed to process benefits like life insurance and retirement benefits.
Updates in Workday
Log in to your account at www.myworkday.com/navigators
- Under the “Personal Information” button, you will be able to update your address and emergency contact information.
- Under the “Pay” button, you will be able to update your federal withholding elections.
- The Benefits Department will update dependents and beneficiaries in Workday once they receive notification.
Fidelity account: If you have a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA), you’ll need to update dependent and beneficiary information. Sign in to Fidelity at www.netbenefits.com to make updates. If this is the death of an employee, please contact Fidelity directly at (800) 343-0860 for more information.
Life Insurance: Be sure your beneficiaries are accurate in Workday by clicking on the “Benefits” button and selecting “Beneficiaries.” This will allow you to view and edit the current list of names. Once that is complete, please send your specific primary and contingent beneficiary designation choices to firstname.lastname@example.org.
401(a) and 403(b) Retirement Accounts: If this is the death of an employee, please contact Fidelity directly at (800) 343-0860 to begin a disbursement.
