Maternity Leave

Congratulations on your expectancy! We pray for a healthy + happy pregnancy and baby! There are a few things you should know about Maternity leave here at The Navigators. We encourage you to explore the below information and reach out to benefits@navigators.org if you have questions along the way.

To get started on filing for your Maternity benefits:

  • Please reach out to the benefits team at: benefits@navigators.org to request a call from the leaves of absence specialist. This should be done no later than 60 days prior to your expected due date.
  • Your Leave Specialist will go over with you all the benefits you are entitled to and the complete process from start to finish to ensure you have nothing to worry about while bonding with your baby.
  • Once you have spoken with your Leave Specialist, they will send a very detailed email, including all forms that need to be filled out by your provider and returned to the specialist, to begin your leave of absence.
  • It is important to know there are three forms that will need your providers signature and must be returned at different times throughout your maternity Journey. These time frames for return are in the email you will receive from your leaves of absence specialist. Your leave cannot be processed until ALL forms are returned.
