International Travel Insurance

If you are traveling for ministry on behalf of The Navigators and are not covered under the United Healthcare medical plan, you are required to purchase international travel insurance. Even if you are on United Healthcare for a short trip overseas, we recommend signing up for this TripArmor policy because it provides additional benefits that are not included in the medical plan.

  • Please read everything on the first page before clicking the link to “Apply Now.”
  • You will need to apply in advance of your trip and provide exact travel dates, destinations and age for each traveler.
  • Upon enrollment, you will receive an email confirmation, including your policy certificate and ID.

  • TripArmor’s 24-hour emergency assistance is available through One Call International. They provide medical assistance, advice and referrals, medical consultation and monitoring, arranging for escorts during a medical evacuation, a 24-hour nurse hotline to provide general health information, clinical assessments, and help in giving assistance in making appropriate health care decisions.

On Call International Insurance

On Call International Insurance is for a specific group of paid international staff and their dependents who are covered under a national health plan and not currently covered by UHC International insurance.

This comprehensive travel risk management program provides emergency and non-emergency services and benefits. The Global Assistance Program will provide services including pre-trip planning, telephone advice, and full-scale medical and security evacuations.

Key features of the program:

  • Medical, travel and security assistance including insured evacuation and repatriation services
  • Coordination of medical care
  • Coordination and payment of travel arrangements for you or a person you designate for certain emergency circumstances

While traveling, you can make a collect call, send an email or text On Call from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, to request assistance. If you need medical care, encounter a travel problem, suffer a medical emergency or are impacted by a security crisis anywhere in the world, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of services available through On Call.

Please note that you do not need to enroll in this plan. All applicable travelers are covered by this plan, at no cost, when outside their home country on Navigators-related travel or assignment.
